From Portland: Go East on I-84 to Bigg's Junction. Turn South on Highway 97; drive for 9 miles and turn East on Highway 206, through Wasco to Condon. Turn South on Highway 19 to Fossil and then to SPRAY. Then follow the hand-drawn map to get to the Ranch. We are about 5-1/2 miles out of Spray. Make this a leisurely drive!

From the Bend area: Go through Prineville and Mitchell to Service Creek and to Spray. A short side trip from this route is the Painted Hills portion of the John Day Fossil Beds.

From the North (Tri-Cities area): Come down through Heppner to Spray.

From the East (John Day): Come along the John Day River on Highway 19. This very scenic route goes through the Sheep Rock section of the John Day Fossil Beds, passes through Picture Gorge, and goes right by spectacular Cathedral Rock and the new Thomas Condon Paleontology Center.
