Bring your horses and RV and enjoy life on a working cattle ranch in the beautiful high desert country of North Central Oregon. Enjoy spectacular views and the beautiful outdoors as you ride miles of trails on high rimrocks, along deep creek beds, on open rolling hills, and through the pine timber. Roam farther on horseback onto the Umatilla National Forest. Relax in the evenings under crystal clear night skies, watch the stars and listen to the coyotes howl.

Spend the hottest part of the afternoon relaxing in the pool or in the hills under a shady tree or fishing for bass in the ranch pond. For the hikers and mountain bikers in your group, there are challenging hiking trails on the ranch and side trips through billions of years of geologic history at the John Day National Monument about 30 miles away. Float trips on the John Day River five miles away can easily be arranged. Swimming in the John Day River and trips to the nearby Kimberly Orchards to pick seasonal fruit are always fun. You are welcome to join in working cattle ranch activities.

Twenty-four individual campsites are spread well apart and have a great view. Each site is designed to pull in and out of -- no backing up is required. Each site has two 12' by 12' pens, picnic table, and fire ring for campfires when permitted. Stock water is a short distance from each site. Excellent spring water is available at the ranch house on arrival. Sites are limited to one camping unit such as a pickup or motor home and horse trailer. We ask that you take manure to a central site (wheelbarrow provided) and take non-burnable garbage home with you. Campsites are primitive - no hook-ups and no showers.

Camping fee schedule: $20 per day for two people and two horses. Additional adults or teenagers $5 per day, children free. Additional horses $5 per day. Additional pen if required $5 per day. Grass & alfalfa hay available.
